UV-C Technology, how does it work?

Microorganisms are microscopic in size. They are ubiquitous and have extremely fast metabolic properties.

In hot and humid weather, the number of moulds and bacteria increases exponentially

In addition, the micro-organisms produce mucus on their surface which contaminates food and causes microbiological spoilage.

UV-C light at an optimal wavelength of 253.7nm penetrates the cell wall of the microorganism.
High-energy photons of UV-C light are absorbed by the cell's proteins and their DNA/RNA, damaging the structure of proteins and causing metabolic disorders.
The DNA of microorganisms is chemically altered so that it cannot divide cells, metabolize and reproduce, and therefore cannot cause decay or disease.

THIS PROCESS LEADS TO THE DESTRUCTION OF ALL MICROORGANISMS!
